The short version

A call that fails because of us is never charged. If a metered call was charged and then failed, the charge goes back to your wallet automatically — you do not need to ask.
Plans: within 14 days of buying a plan you may withdraw and get the price back, less a proportional amount for the calls already used. After 14 days a plan is not refunded, but it also never renews by itself.
Wallet credit: unspent credit is refundable on request within 14 days of the top-up; what you have already spent is not.
A server we withdraw while your paid plan on it is running is refunded for the unused part of the period, whatever the date.

Withdrawal within 14 days

If you are a consumer in the EU you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because a plan and wallet credit are usable the moment you pay, we ask you at checkout to request that the service starts immediately and to acknowledge that, once it has started, the part you have used is no longer covered by that right. That is why the refund of a plan is reduced by the proportion of its allowance you consumed: for a plan of N calls of which you used k, you receive the price × (1 − k/N), and never less than zero. Calls within the free allowance you would have had anyway are not counted.

What is not refunded

Calls you made, credit you spent, and plan periods that have ended.
A plan bought more than 14 days ago, unless we withdrew the server.
Charges arising from an API key you failed to keep secret.

How refunds are paid

Card (Stripe) and PayPal: to the original payment method, usually visible within 5–10 business days.
Cryptocurrency: in the same coin, for the same amount of that coin we received, to the address it came from; the network fee is deducted. We cannot refund to a different address or convert to another currency.

How to ask

Write to the contact above from the email address on your account, quoting the order reference from your account page. We confirm within 3 business days and pay approved refunds within 14 days of confirming. Business customers: the withdrawal right above applies to consumers; the automatic refund of failed calls and the withdrawn-server refund apply to everyone.
